A Melody for Thought

When I was little I would only eat the top part of broccoli because I didn’t want to eat the “bark” of the tree. Then i would tell my parents that I felt like a giant when I ate broccoli because it looked like a forest on my plate, escpecially when there was a mountian of mashed potatoes or a plateu of steak. They just said “eat your dinner”. It’s refreshing knowing that someone thinks like me.
